In an e-mail from the library system, officials have scheduled the meeting next Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. from the Gainesville branch.
Libraries in the system are currently closed on weekends, and hours the other five days were recently cut because of continued budget challenges.
System Director Adrian Mixson said some turnover has opened up some options.
"Enough turnover to free up some money so that we can hire some part time people so that we can bring back limited hours on Saturday," Mixson said.
"Now what those limited hours are going to be, I have no idea. I've given the board some suggestions, and they'll make a decision."
The latest schedule took effect this past weekend.
