Zavior Hoxie rushed for 93 yards to pace a Buford offense that managed 169 yards -- 117 of that on the ground.
Dontravious Wilson put the Wolves (1-0) ahead 7-0 in the second quarter on an 11-yard run, while Montgomery VanGorder and Thomas Wilson hooked up for the other touchdown -- a 37-yard pass in the fourth quarter that put the contest out of reach.
Ty Martin scored the only points for Elbert, booting a 31-yard field goal in the third quarter to pull within 7-3.
