Softball: Lumpkin pushes past Lanier

DAHLONEGA -- The Lumpkin County softball team knocked off Lanier 4-1 on Thursday in Dahlonega.

Ashley Brown pitched a complete game in the win, giving up three hits, while striking out six.

Alison Gentry and Taylor Turk each led the Lady Indians at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Lumpkin County travels to face Madison County on Tuesday.
