Softball: Lumpkin pounds out win over Chestatee

DAHLONEGA -- Ashley Brown tossed a complete-game to lead Lumpkin County to a 9-1 win over Chestatee Thursday.

Brown recorded seven strikeouts in five innings of work.

Morgan Wood paced the Lady Indinas at the plate with two hits and three RBI.

Lumpkin County next will play host to Rabun County on Monday.
