Gainesville names new Tourism Manager

GAINESVILLE - The city of Gainesville didn't have too far to go for its new Tourism Manager.

Deb Gregson served as Interim Tourism Manager for the past six months and most recently coordinated the Bass Federation National Guard Junior World Championship.

Gregson started with Gainesville in 1997 in public utilities and was recently named to the manager position, according to the city.

She's been working in communications and tourism for the city over the past decade.
