CUMMING - All lanes of Highway 369 have reopened in Forsyth County after being shut down for several hours Tuesday due to a serious accident involving a tractor trailer.

Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers said the tractor trailer collided with a four-door sedan near the intersection of Gravitt Road around 11 a.m., seriously injuring the sedan's driver.

"Her vehicle was in a difficult position, upside-down and in a roadside ditch, but the extrication has been completed and she is currently in the air en route to Grady Medical Center," he said.

Shivers says the driver of the tractor trailer was transported to Northside-Forsyth Hospital with minor injuries.

He said the tractor trailer spilled oil onto the roadway and Georgia Department of Transportation crews were called in to assist with the cleanup.
