UNDATED - Starting Monday, state officials will push a little harder for businesses to think about allowing their employees to telework.

The governor is among those encouraging businesses to make that possibilty a reality for themselves and their employees.

Brian Carr at the Clean Air Campaign says in a recent survey over 600,000 people are teleworking and thats just in the Atlanta area alone.

He says working from home cuts down on smog, commuter frustration and transportation costs.

Carr says it's not a difficult concept for workers to embrace, but some employers don't yet understand the benefits.
