FLOWERY BRANCH - North Georgia Christian School students started their new school year on a new campus Wednesday morning.

The private school opened a new 11,000-square-foot middle and high school facility on the property of Chestnut Mountain Church.

The transition from the school's prior location on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville occurred over the summer.

In addition, school officials said NGCS has enrolled 37 new students this year. That brings the school's current enrollment to 206.

Seniors Tristan Diepenbrock, Kayla Cheatham, and Sam Love welcome a new year at NGCS.
