CUMMING - The Forsyth County man charged with reckless conduct after biting two children has been sentenced to four years' supervised probation.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 46-year-old Gordon Kent Nelson received the sentence Tuesday in Forsyth County State Court.

Investigators said the biting incidents involved one girl at a sleepover with his daughter. The other young victim was the daughter of a family friend.

Authorities said one of the girls was bitten above the hip and the other on her left calf. Although neither girl required extensive medical treatment, one was treated and released at a local hospital emergency room.
