In the past, Gwinnett Police would destroy weapons they confiscated during crimes, but for the second time, the county has entered into a deal with a gun dealer to sell off those guns with the profits going to the police budget.
Gwinnett County commissioners signed a contract this week with an Alabama gun dealer. As part of that agreement, the county gets $10,000 in exchange for about 60 seized guns.
