The Gainesville Wildcats AAU basketball team participated in the NCAA Certified East Cost Dual this weekend at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.

Playing against top-tier, national talent, the Wildcats reached the semifinals of their bracket of 32 teams, losing by one point.

The Wildcats played in six games over the course of the weekend, with each game being decided by four points or less.

Once again the Wildcats played in front of multiple college coaches during their run at another championship, with several Division-I and Division-II coaches inquiring about Wildcats players after their performance.

The Wildcats played 42 games this season, winning three different championships.
