BUFORD - A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who intentionally set a pick-up truck on fire in Buford Tuesday morning.

A Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman said units responded to the 2900 block of Trailing Ivy Way in Buford around 1:30 a.m. to find a black Ford F-150 engulfed in flames in the resident's driveway.

He said investigators discovered a surveillance video showing a dark-skinned male approaching the pick-up, breaking the passenger window and throwing something he ignited into the vehicle.

Fire Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Gwinnett Fire Arson and Explosives Investigation Section at 678-518-4890 or the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. Georgia Arson Control, Inc. offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for arson.
