According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Burrows was reinstated on Monday after leaving the team last week -- the redshirt sophomore had said he was more suited to a 4-3 defensive scheme as a defensive end, rather than as a linebacker in Georgia's 3-4 line-up, but has since changed his mind.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Burrows, out of Marietta's Walton High, is listed as No. 3 at the "Mike" position (one of two middle linebacker spots in the line-up) on the preseason depth chart behind senior Mike Gilliard and sophomore Amarlo Herrera.
Burrows' return comes after a string of Bulldogs have either left the team or been dismissed for various issues. Georgia could begin the season with as few as 70 recruited scholarship players -- the limit for Football Bowl Subdivision programs is 85 scholarship players.
