According to Hall County Sheriff's Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks, two men, described only as black, tried to force their way through a window in the 1000 block of Black Drive before 9:00 a.m.
Wilbanks said the suspects never entered the residence, but pointed guns at the resident and demanded money through the window. They took off without getting any money and no one was hurt.
Tracking dogs trailed the men to an area where witnesses saw them take off in a gray passenger car.
