BUFORD - More details about memorial services for the young victims of last week's fatal boating collision on Lake Lanier have been released.

According to the obituary for 9-year-old Jake Prince and his 13-year-old brother Griffin, a public visitation will be held at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel on Monday between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for the Prince family, law enforcement, public safety personnel, close friends and the Latter Day Saints Church Community.

Jake Prince was pronounced dead shortly after the deadly collision in the Shoal Creek area of the lake on the night of June 18. Dive teams discovered Griffin's body Wednesday after nine days of searching.

Authorities said both brothers were killed when their pontoon boat was hit by a fishing boat being driven by 44-year-old Paul J. Bennett of Cumming. They said Bennett has been charged with boating under the influence.

The pontoon boat that was carrying the Prince family at the time of the accident sits at DNR headquarters while authorities continue their investigation.
