GAINESVILLE - A Forsyth County man was sentenced to five years in prison Thursday and a life of supervised release after his sentencing on child pornography charges.

29 year old Andrew John Googins of Cumming was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Gainesville after pleading guilty to distribution, receipt and possession of child pornography earlier this year.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Googins collected over 120,000 images and videos showing the sexual abuse of young children.

"Googins amassed the collection using computer software, and shared the pornography over the internet with other offenders. He has justly earned a significant sentence for his role in victimizing these children," U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said.

Googins was busted by the FBI and Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. He had been using the screen name "fallenone666."
