FLOWERY BRANCH - A political forum in Flowery Branch Tuesday will focus on the races for Hall County Commission Chairman and a new South Hall-North Gwinnett state House district.

It will be sponsored by the South Hall Republican Club and feature a question-and-answer period for the three candidates running in the GOP Primary July 31 for Hall County Commission Chairman - Steve Gailey, Dick Mecum and incumbent Tom Oliver.

Club President Ed Asbridge said "We will also have both candidates running for the District 103 Georgia House seat."

The district covers parts of South Hall County and North Gwinnett County. The two candidates are Timothy Barr and Ken Russell.

The forum will be held at the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch starting at 6:30 but Asbridge says if you plan to attend you are invited to "come early and meet these candidates."
