Georgia IronDawgs Tim "T" Moon and C.J. Allen of Gainesville are both scheduled to compete in the Southern Powerlifting Federation National Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships at the Glenstone Lodge in Gatlinburg, Tenn., on Sunday.

Moon will represent the IronDawgs' bench press team while Allen will lift in the full power competition. Moon recently took the title in the Master's Men's 125 kilogram class at the American Powerlifting Committee Nationals in Jonesboro. Sunday's meet is a qualifier for the 2012 World meet.

Last Saturday, members of the Strongman division of the IronDawgs competed at the Georgia's Strongest Man event in Douglasville. Less than a week after winning his class at the APC Nationals, Kevin Eubanks of Bogart finished second in the 200-pound Masters' class. With that finish, Eubanks qualified for the North American Strongman Nationals. IronDawgs Landon Jameson of Suwanee and Chris McCann of Flowery Branch finished fourth and sixth respectively in the Superheavyweight Open Division -- which was an improvement over their last meet in Macon. They have also lifted with the IronDawgs at powerlifting and push/pull meets.

Moon, Allen, Jameson and McCann all train at the IronDawgs' headquarters, Iron beast Barbell in Gainesville.
