Stacey Kalberman filed the lawsuit nearly a year after the ethics commission voted to slash her salary by about 30 percent and eliminate deputy Sherilyn Streicker's position. Soon afterward, Kalberman announced her departure.
Kalberman questioned the timing of the salary cut and noted her efforts at the time to push ahead with the Deal investigation. The lawsuit filed Friday claims ``Kalberman was forced to resign her position, as it was clear she would not receive support from the commissioners, and her ability to perform her job duties was compromised.''
Streicker has also filed a lawsuit against the agency.
