Brown appointed head of Norton Mountain Division

UNDATED - Norton Residential has announced the appointment of Diane Black Brown as President and CREO of its Mountain Division.

Brown has been a Norton partner since 1989 and has spearheaded the firm's expansion into Habersham, White, Rabun, Stephens and Banks counties. Brown is responsible for day-to-day brokerage activities for four Service Centers and 10 North Georgia counties. She will also have overall responsibility for the Firm's OREO Bank Special Assets initiatives, developing marketing programs, sales tools and associate training.

Brown was Past President of the Habersham/White Board of Realtors, the Mountain MLS System, Habersham Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband Franklin live in Clarkesville and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren.

Norton is the largest, oldest and most successful Real Estate Insurance Company in the North Georgia Region. It operates 17 offices in three States and has a current listing portfolio in excess of 1 billion dollars in 48 counties.
