NORCROSS -- The Chestatee girls soccer team fell behind 1-0 in the first half but bounced back to secure a 3-3 tie with Meadowcreek on Wednesday in Norcross.

The Lady War Eagles (6-8-1) took the lead off penalty kick goals with 28 and 14 minutes remaining in the first half -- Sadie Foote converting the first and Alexis Rebollar securing the second.

With four minutes remaining in the first period, Rebollar slipped past the left defender and notched her 2nd goal to take a 3-1 half-time lead for the War Eagles.

The Mustangs (1-11-3) stormed back in the second half, scoring twice to level the game, which ended in a tie.

Chestatee plays host to Stephens County on Thursday in a region make-up game that was delayed during Tuesday's inclement weather.
