Baseball: Gainesville moves to 6-0 as Anglin earns 20th career win

SUWANEE -- Hunter Anglin pitched his way to his 20th career win and Gainesville to its sixth victory of the season on Wednesday, as the Red Elephants pounded Lanier 13-2 in five innings in Suwanee.

Anglin, a junior, worked all five innings, allowing no earned runs and striking out seven batters.

Stephen Mason led Gainesville (6-0, 1-0 Region 8B-AAA) at the plate, going 2-for-2, with two home runs and four RBIs.
Michael Gettys also finished 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, while Anglin finished 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. David Gonzalez also went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs.

The Red Elephants will travel to take on White County at 5:55 p.m. Friday in Cleveland.
