GAINESVILLE - Some 500 Jazzercisers from the Jazzercise Fitness Center of Gainesville, Jazzercise of Braselton and from all over north Georgia recently raised funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at a benefit dance-fitness class on Sunday, February 12.

The 10th annual Jazzercise benefit was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Buckhead.

According to local Jazzercise owner/instructor Colleen Manji, the event raised $186,000 with special guest instructor, hip-hop dance teacher Tim Roberts.

The workout program offers a fusion of Latin dance, hip-hop dance, Pilates, yoga and kickboxing, and according to Manji, has positively affected millions of people worldwide.
