The three-time defending state champs had all their starters in uniform for the first time in weeks on Friday -- and the Lady Wolves used to it devastating effect in the first round of the state tournament, crushing Kendrick 90-40 in Buford.
The Lady Wolves (22-7) stormed to a 32-10 first quarter lead and held a 55-19 advantage at halftime.
Kaela Davis scored 23 points to lead Buford, while Andraya Carter added 17. McKenzie Darrah, in her first game back from injury, also scored 10.
Kahlia Lawrence led Kendrick with 18 points.
The Lady Wolves move on to face the winner of the North Oconee, which defeated River Ridge 62-45 in the first round, on Tuesday in Buford.
