According to the Athens Banner Herald, Arcade Police arrested 34 year old Jeffrey Wayne Tingle on Tuesday.
In addition to burglary and assault charges, he's also charged with criminal attempt to commit rape, criminal attempt to commit child molestation and two counts of first-degree cruelty to children.
Tingle allegedly broke into the girl's home in the Fowler Mobile Home Park Friday. He lives in that same park.
Police told the newspaper that the girl's nine year old sister screamed and Tingle took off.
