Girls basketball: Union's 3-pointers sink Lumpkin County

BLAIRSVILLE -- Behind the strength of 10 3-pointers the Union County girls basketball team defeated Lumpkin County 46-31 on Friday in Blairsville.

The Lady Panthers were led by junior sensation Lauren Zollinger's 20 points. Brooke Maddox added 11.

The Lady Indians were led in scoring by Dakota Sullens with 9, Morgan Wood had 6, and Lacey Robinson added 5.

Lumpkin County plays again on Tuesday when they host Chestatee.
