Boys basketball: Dawson Co. handles Pinecrest

The Dawson County boys basketball team cruised past Pinecrest Academy 47-28 on Tuesday.

The Tigers (6-0) outscored Pinecrest 16-2 in the first quarter.

Tyler Dominy led Dawson County with a game-high 14 points, while Lucas Pain and Will Anglin each scored eight.

Austin Ward led Pinecrest (5-3) with nine points.

Dawson County will travel to the Columbus Showcase to play Schley County on Friday.
