Boys basketball: Red Elephants stumble in Conyers

CONYERS -- The Gainesville boys basketball team suffered a 60-51 defeat to Heritage on Tuesday in Conyers.

Jikeese Ruff led the Red Elephants with 14 points and eight rebounds, while Shaquan Cantrell added 13 points and nine rebounds. Luke Moore also scored 10 points in the loss.

Eric McEver and Rashad Jones each had 15 for Heritage.

Gainesville's next game is Saturday in the first round of the Lanierland tournament at Gainesville.
