Girls basketball: Lady Indians nipped by Lanier

DAHLONEGA -- The Lanier High girls basketball team upended Lumpkin County 46-43 on Tuesday in Dahlonega.

Shelby Threlkeld led the Lady Longhorns with 18 points, with Taylor Gibson-Green adding eight.

Abbie Guthrie paced the Lady Indians with 10 points, with Dakota Sullens and Lacey Robinson adding eight apiece.

Lumpkin County travels to face Union County on Friday.
