Girls basketball: Lady Falcons stay undefeated

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls basketball team continued its perfect start to the season on Tuesday courtesy a 47-36 defeat of Cedar Shoals in Flowery Branch.

The Lady Falcons (7-0, 5-0 Region 8-AAAAA) outscored Cedar Shoals 31-23 in the second half to seal the win.

Tavia Sykes led Flowery Branch with 14 points, while Dani Lacko chipped in with 10 points.

The Lady Falcons will take on Clarke Central on Friday.
