GAINESVILLE - Two men with Gainesville addresses have been arrested on drug charges after they were caught in an undercover sting with $18,200 dollars worth of methamphetamine, according to Hall County authorities.

Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) Lt. Scott Ware said the sting took place Monday.

Ware identified the suspects as Enrique Octavio Arteaga-Talamante, 36, and Felipe Perez-Casillas, 33. Both men were booked into the Hall County Jail.

Ware said both men were charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Ware said Perez-Casillas was also charged with possession of cocaine, and immigration officials placed a hold on him, since he was found to be residing in the United States illegally.

Gainesville Police officers and Hall County Sheriff's deputies assisted in the operation.
