Authorities ID man found next to burning vehicle

CUMMING - Forsyth County authorities have identified the man found dead outside of his burning car Monday as 53-year-old William Joseph Barefoot of Cumming.

Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Karleen Chalker said authorities do not suspect foul play, but they have not released a cause of death for Barefoot, pending results of an autopsy.

Barefoot was found lying outside of his burning vehicle along Pilgrm Mill Circle Monday afternoon.
