This past Monday morning Leticia's brother, Jesus, and several friends, pitched a tent on the concrete slab in front of the Best Buy store on Dawsonville Highway, all for the purpose of being first through the doors on Black Friday and purchasing a 40" television for his sister for "something around $180".
The Chestatee High School student said that last year he was third in line and did not get the items he wanted.
Guerrero explained that the two groups in front of him had "a whole lot of family" show up just as the door were opened.
This year Guerrero was determined to be first, even if it meant spending three nights with "not much sleep".
What did he miss most? Guerrero quickly responded, "The bed, the regular bed."
"The only problem we deal with is people come by and say we're crazy or something like that," Guerrero said, laughing as if to agree.
"It got cold the first night but we brought more blankets. And there is a Port-a-Potty out back."
When asked if he was ready for midnight to arrive when the doors to the store would open and he and his four buddies would be first to enter the electronics mega-store, Guerrero could only grin and nod his head.
