Boys basketball: Lakeview falls at W.D. Mohammed

FAYETTEVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team opened the season with a 67-50 defeat at W.D. Mohammed on Tuesday in Fayetteville.

Austin Montgomery scored 24 points to pace the Lions (0-1), while Trevor Price and John Cox each scored eight points.

Lakeview will travel to face Johnson next Tuesday in Oakwood.
