Boys basketball: Spartans slam East Jackson

CLEVELAND -- The West Hall boys basketball team built a 17-4 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 67-45 defeat of East Jackson on Tuesday in the White County Tip Off Tournament in Cleveland.

Hunter Atkinson paced the Spartans (2-0) with a game-high 25 points, while Tyswon Cantrell added 19 points.

West Hall will travel to face St. Pius next Tuesday in Atlanta.
