Wednesday, November 21, is a furlough day, while Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23, are Thanksgiving holidays for county employees.
County officials said essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the furlough. The landfill and compactor sites will remain open.
In addition, many county services are available online, even when offices are closed.
