CCA recognized as a top military friendly employer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), which operates the North Georgia Detention Center in Gainesville, has once again been recognized by G.I. Jobs magazine as being a top military-friendly employer.

Ranked 40th on the magazine's annual "Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers" list, CCA is recognized as a company that exceedingly embraces America's military veterans, National Guard and Reserve members as employees.

"It's a wonderful honor to be named as a top military employer by G.I. Jobs magazine," says Melanie Carnaggio, CCA's Director of Recruiting. "At CCA, we recognize the value in hiring from this talented group. Many of our organization's leaders are veterans who have found rewarding and stable careers here."

This marks the sixth year that G.I. Jobs magazine has distinguished CCA as a leading company for service members interested in transitioning into a civilian career. CCA employs 1,600 individuals
