GAINESVILLE - Buffalo Wild Wings announces the opening of its newest restaurant, located on Dawsonville Highway in Gainesville, and the creation of more than 50 new jobs.

The 5,700-square-foot restaurant opens Monday and will employ approximately 60 people. Buffalo Wild Wings is the newest restaurant to locate in the Beechwood Crossing Shopping Center following Olive Garden and Cheddar's, which opened last year. This will be Buffalo Wild Wings' 15th restaurant in Georgia. The chain has 840 locations nationwide. The development is being marketed by Knight Commercial Real Estate.

"The new Buffalo Wild Wings will have an immediate impact. Residents from throughout the region are increasingly drawn to the Dawsonville Highway area for their dining and shopping experience. Their retail dollars are creating jobs, helping support schools and funding local infrastructure through sales tax collections," said Tim Evans, Vice President of Economic Development for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. "The Buffalo Wild Wings location will complement existing retail and enhance the corridor as a regional destination for shopping and dining."

"We have been welcomed and look forward to being a part of the community," said Marcus Montgomery, Regional Manager, Buffalo Wild Wings. "We will kick-off great food and good times at the new Gainesville location beginning Monday, November 12."

Tim Knight of Knight Commercial Real Estate said, "Buffalo Wild Wings, as the third national restaurant locating to this site, demonstrates how viable the Gainesville-Hall County trade area is for retail and how strong the Highway 53 (Dawsonville Highway) corridor is for future retail growth. This is only the beginning of multiple new deals in the works for this area."
