GAINESVILLE - The Governor's Office of Workforce Development has selected Gainesville High School as one of the first schools in Georgia to implement a Go Build Georgia High School Team. One-hundred-thirty-five high schools across the state have been chosen to participate in this program.

Go Build is designed to educate young people on the value of learning a trade and to encourage them to consider a career in the skilled trade industry. The mission of Go Build is to provide better opportunities for craft tradesmen, to provide more highly skilled employees and to enhance economic development for Georgia and for the nation.
