Cross Country: Lakeview boys finish eighth in state

MACON -- The Lakeview Academy boys cross country team finished eighth in the Class A private championships on Saturday in Macon.<br /> <br /> Last year's Lions team finished 17th at the state meet. This year's Lakeview team averaged 17 minutes, 59 seconds.<br /> <br /> Dustin Snyder led the Lions, placing 17th individually (17:13). Lewis Brooks was also 24th (17:28), while Dalton Snyder was 44th (18:03).<br /> <br /> Kyle Lewis (18:35), Grant Hocker (18:40), Clint Walker (19:17) and Joe Pennington (19:19) also competed for the Lions.
