The commission meeting room, which is housed on the second floor of the new building, will seat 332 people.
It is outfitted with flat-screen monitors that will show speakers and close-ups of documents presented during meetings and floor-to-ceiling windows give a clear view of the building's 33-acre tree-filled campus.
If the commission meeting room is filled to capacity, overflow crowds can be accommodated in the cafeteria space on the fourth floor, which includes a widescreen television to broadcast the proceedings in the meeting room as they happen live. The Hall County Government Center is located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road near the corner of McEver Road.
Other county boards and agencies will also use the building for their meetings, as well.
