GAINESVILLE - Jurors were expected to begin deliberations Friday afternoon in the week-long murder trial involving the murder of a toddler in Gainesville.

Judge C. Andrew Fuller's office confirmed the case would go to jury after a lunch break Friday. Attorneys spent Thursday in closing arguments.

Deanna Kipp has been on trial for a week, accused in the murder of her 18 month old daughter, Kaylee, in Gainesville last summer. Deanna Kipp was 24 at the time of the death.

Her boyfriend at the time, Stephen Clark West, is serving a life prison sentence in the case.

Kaylee Kipp's body was found last summer in a unit at the On Riverside Condominium complex.
