Two 14-year-olds arrested, charged with armed robbery

Gainesville Police have arrested two 14-year-olds in connection with an armed robbery that occured last Saturday night at the Harrison Square apartment complex. A third suspect is being sought.

The robbery happened around 8 p.m., according to police spokesman Cpl. Kevin Holbrook.

Holbrook said three male subjects entered a taxi cab and robbed the driver at gunpoint.

The subjects then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Details regarding the identities of those involved are being withheld at this time as they are juveniles.
