GAINESVILLE - The family of a missing Hall County man is hoping a bigger reward may lead to his recovery.

Hall County authorities said Thomas Funk's family members are now offering a reward of $7,500 for information that leads to his recovery.

The 48-year-old Funk was last seen October 1, 2011 at his home on Oconee Circle in Gainesville. His roommate told authorities he saw Funk that night, but when he awoke Sunday morning, Funk was gone. Funk's cell phone and vehicle were still at the residence when he disappeared.

Authorites said at the time of his disappearance, Funk had an injured foot and had been treated at the hospital for the injury.

Funk is a 6-feet tall and weighs 155 pounds.

Anyone who has information on Funk's whereabouts is asked to call the Hall County Sheriff's Office at 770-536-8812.
