"Children of Eden" opens Tuesday at FBHS

FLOWERY BRANCH - The Branch Theatre at Flowery Branch High School presents "Children of Eden" Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday this week. Performances are scheduled each night a 7:00. Admission is $5 for students and $7 for adults.<br /> <br /> In addition, an understudy performance will take place at 2:00 on Saturday and all tickets for that performance will be $5. Saturday's 7:00 performance will run a special of buy one ticket get one half off. This production will be adjudicated for the Shuler Hensley Awards.<br /> <br /> Freely based on the story of Genesis, "Children of Eden" is described as a "frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination" of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."<br />
