UNDATED - Nearly 100 Georgia scout leaders are included on the so-called "perversion files" from the Boy Scouts of America, released by order of the Oregon Supreme Court; some of those cases are from the North Georgia area.

The formerly confidential papers show a wide range of authorities over the years, including those in the church, shielded scoutmasters and others accused of molesting children.

Most of the cases do not reveal names, but they do identify the troop numbers and cities where the molestations took place.

On the list are cases from Athens, Clayton, Blue Ridge, Flowery Branch and Maysville.
