The MADD Georgia State Office is looking for victims and crash survivors who would like to share their stories.

MADD officials would like to hear from anyone interested in telling others about their experience and the effect that the crime of driving under the influence has had on their family.

MADD will be hosting a meeting to discuss speaking opportunities in Georgia, how a speech is formed, as well as how to be the most effective speaker.

The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Georgia State MADD Office, 1000 Circle 75 Parkway SE, Suite 45, Atlanta, GA 30339.

For those who are not ready to speak publicly but want to make a difference, MADD also is looking for general volunteers to help out with non-speaking roles at MADD events.

To confirm attendance or to obtain more information, contact MADD Georgia VIP Coordinator Brenda Turner at (770) 615-3737 or [email protected]; or the victim advocate, Cynthia Hagain, at (770) 790-5532 or [email protected].
