SNCA rounding out Oct. with a number of events

SAUTEE-NACOOCHEE - The Sautee-Nacoochee Community Association (SNCA) is rounding out October with a number of events.<br /> <br /> Lilies of the Valley October 20-21<br /> <br /> *The Lilies are a group of local women who are powerful singers, musicians, and songwriters. One of the most popular shows every year at the Sautee Nacoochee Center, these women are the perfect blend of professionals who come together and share their talents with the community. Their beautiful blend of harmonies and energy fill the house with sweet melodies and make all who hear them want more. For tickets and more information <br /> <br /> Trunk or Treat Coming Halloween Night<br /> <br /> *Sautee Nacoochee Community Association will hold Trunk or Treat festivities at the Historic SNCA Campus on October 31. One-stop for all of your Halloween night needs. Bring your family for an inexpensive but hearty hot-dog and chili supper at beginning at 5:30 in the Community Hall. Trunk or treating begins at 6:00 on the lawn and goes until 7:00. At 6:30, the gymnasium will open for indoor fun. There will be a charge for carnival games and the haunted house. There will be a cake walk and at 8:30 a performance by Ginny King's dance class. Immediately afterward, judging will take place for a costume contest for Best Child Costume (male & female), Best Group or Family, and Best Adult (Male & Female). All proceeds go to the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association. No partner needed. No experience necessary. Costumes encouraged (but not required) - with prizes for winners in several categories. Admission: Adults/$8, Students/$4. Children under 8 free.
