"The victim stated that he been held at gunpoint by three black males. At some point he was struck in the face or in the head with a pistol," Zimbardi said.
"They stole an undisclosed amount of cash as well as jewelry, some electronics items and possibly some other items that we're unaware of at this time," Zimbardi added.
The suspects left in a white four-door sedan, according to witnesses.
Zimbardi said there was no evidence of forced entry into the home, but investigators are continuing their work.
The victim had no visible injuries, according to Zimbardi.
Police have not released the name of the suspect they arrested.
