Campaign spokesman Chip Lake the Collins camp wants Cox to do an audit and determine how much time has been spent on Zoller's show since announcing her candidacy in September talking about her candidacy.
Lake says they determined at the time Zoller announced her candidacy in September that they would make the request of her employer if she was not off the air by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Zoller's campaign Manager, Ryan Mahoney, said Tuesday the move comes as no surprise.
"I think we knew what we were up against," Mahoney said, "...Collins is a typical politician and will do anything he can to silence the 'voice of north Georgia' and we're waiting to hear back from Cox before we say anything further."
There are two other announced candidates for the post: Jackson County Commission Chairman Hunter Bicknell and former Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Cliff McDuffie.
